To become a member, you are required to fill out the Clarence City Band Membership Form. All new membership applications will be presented to the Committee for review and approval.

You are welcome to play with us for up to four weeks before you decide to become a member of the Clarence City Band.

We also offer a community membership to non-playing supporters of the band. Community membership includes free entry to at-home concerts, the Spring concert, and the Gala Night.

Continuing band and non-playing community members are required to renew their registration at the start of each calendar year. Membership fees for renewing members are due by the end of March each year.

Membership costs

Adult: $80 per year
Under 18 / full-time student / pensioner: $50 per year
Community (non playing) member : $40 per year
Instrument rental fees: $150 per year

The Music Directors have the authority to schedule periodic payments or reduce/waive fees where hardship exists.

How to pay
It is preferred that payment is made by direct bank deposit to the Band’s bank account, however, cash or cheque is also accepted.

To make a direct deposit into the Band’s bank account:

Description: Your name (eg. J Bloggs) and payment type (e.g. membership or instrument hire)

To pay by cash or cheque, put it in a sealed envelope with your name, date, payment type and amount written on the outside, and give it to your ensemble leader.
