The Clarence City Band (CCB) was formed as an initiative of the Clarence City Council in August 1988, following a feasibility study carried out by Neil Turnbull.
The Band is administered by a volunteer management committee, which is a sub-committee of Council established under the Local Government Act 1993.
The Clarence City Band has two Music Directors, Andrew MacLean and Tom Goninon. Andrew is the music director for the performance ensembles and Tom is the music director for the Development Program.
The Music Directors are supported by a number of ensemble leaders.
All members of the Clarence City Band abide by the Band’s Code of Conduct.
